Today, Year 6 were lucky enough to meet Oliver Langford. He is an EFL referee, and his full-time job is to officiate English League football matches. He told us all about his profession, and showed us what is involved. Oliver brought his kit and accessories into the classroom, and some of our lucky children got to try them out! It certainly made us realise what a difficult job the match officials have, and we all feel a little more empathetic to the young referees in our Saturday morning matches now!
