Parent Partnerships, Conduct and Resolving Concerns

At Stanley Primary School, we believe that strong partnerships between parents, carers and school staff are essential to ensuring every child thrives academically, socially and emotionally.

Parent Code of Conduct

As part of the Synergy Education Trust, we expect all members of our school community to treat one another with courtesy, respect and understanding.

Our Parent Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected when communicating with school staff, other parents and pupils, both in person and online. The Code helps ensure that Stanley Primary School remains a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

Raising Concerns and Making a Complaint

We understand that, from time to time, parents and carers may have questions, concerns or complaints. In most cases, issues can be resolved quickly through open and constructive communication with the member of staff best placed to help.

To support families, we have provided the Parent Guide to School Complaints, which explains:

• The difference between feedback, concerns and complaints.

• Who to speak to within school and when.

• How to raise concerns constructively.

• What to expect from the complaints process.

• How and when complaints can be escalated if necessary.

The guide promotes positive partnerships between families and schools and helps ensure that concerns are addressed fairly, efficiently and respectfully.
