Community Support and Fundraising

At our school, we are proud to play an active role in our local community. We are passionate about supporting a wide range of charities and initiatives, and we value every opportunity to give back - whether through fundraising, acts of kindness, or community outreach. We also love welcoming local groups into our school to share experiences and strengthen our connections. If you are part of a community group or charity and would like to work with us, we would be delighted to hear from you - please get in touch!

The King's Trust

We were delighted to welcome a team from The King's Trust, who helped transformed our KS1 dining hall as part of their community project. While they gained valuable hands-on experience to help complete their training, our school benefited from a refreshed and welcoming space for our children to enjoy.

It was a fantastic partnership that showcased the positive impact of working together to support both our community and future opportunities.

World Dream Day

We were incredibly grateful to Dreams Come True Charity for funding our new Embrace 1 playground, which made a significant and lasting difference to our children by providing an inclusive and engaging space for play and development.

As a school, we were proud to give back and show our appreciation by supporting the charity through a Pyjama Day for World Dream Day, raising awareness as well as funds.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised an amazing £855 to help Dreams Come True continue their inspiring work supporting children who needed it most.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to understand the importance of helping others and being part of a caring, supportive community.

World Mental Health Day

We celebrated World Mental Health Day as a whole school, promoting kindness and wellbeing. Each child wrote a kind message on a yellow Post-it note, which we made into a mural. Pupils also took part in “Hello Yellow” activities in their classrooms, supporting YoungMinds UK and encouraging positive conversations about mental health.

Elf Run

We have proudly supported Brian House Children’s Hospice over the last few years through our festive Elf Run. In 2025, our school community raised an incredible £782.59, helping to support the vital care and services they provide for children and their families.

Children In Need

We proudly supported Children in Need by coming together as a whole school to raise awareness for this important cause. Pupils joined in by wearing spots and Pudsey-themed outfits, showing their enthusiasm and support.

Families were also encouraged to contribute via shared donation links, helping to support vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

'Dress As Your Hero' Day

We enjoyed a fantastic Heroes Non-Uniform Day, with pupils coming to school dressed as the people who inspire them, from superheroes and emergency service workers to sporting icons and family heroes.

Thanks to the generosity of our families and staff, we raised an incredible £433 for Cash4Kids, helping to support local children and families in need. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.

'Wear Your Football Shirt' Day

We proudly supported Gifting Goals by taking part in Wear Your Football Shirt Day to celebrate the start of the World Cup. Gifting Goals was co-founded by Jordan Banks' mum in memory of Jordan, a much-loved and forever member of our Stanley family, and uses the power of sport to provide football kits, educational resources and opportunities for children and communities in Africa.

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we raised an incredible £430.74. Every penny will help the charity continue creating hope, confidence and joy through football while honouring Jordan's legacy.

Christmas Cards in the Community

As part of our Christmas celebrations, our children designed and delivered festive cards to people in our local community. It was a wonderful opportunity to spread joy, build connections, and demonstrate the importance of kindness and giving back.
