PTFA
Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA)
Welcome to the PTFA section of Stanley Primary School!
The Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA) is a vital part of our school community. We are a group of parents, carers, staff and friends of the school who work together to support and enhance the learning experience for all of our children.
What We Do
The PTFA organises a wide range of events and activities throughout the school year, all with the aim of:
- Raising funds to support the school and enrich the educational experience of our pupils.
- Building a strong school community by bringing families, staff, and friends together in fun and inclusive ways.
Our fundraising efforts help to provide resources and experiences that fall outside of the standard school budget – things that make a big difference to our children's learning and enjoyment at school.
How We Support the School
Thanks to the generosity of our school community and the hard work of our volunteers, the PTFA has been able to contribute to many exciting projects, including:
- Purchasing a new drama and stage sound system for the Key Stage 2 Hall
- Funding the decoration of the Key Stage 2 Hall
- Supporting the school at local events, performances and trips
- Building a community of volunteers all with the children’s best interest at heart.
Our Fundraising Events
Over the past 2 years, the PTFA has organised some fantastic events, including:
- Christmas Rainbow Raffles
- Easter Bingo Nights
- Virtual Balloon Races
- Christmas Carols at Supermarkets
- Easter Extravaganza Raffles
- Summer Ice Pops Stalls
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved – but we couldn’t do it without your support!
Every penny we raise goes back into the school to benefit our children.
Get Involved
We are always looking for new members and volunteers – and there’s a role for everyone, no matter how much or how little time you can spare.
Ways to get involved:
- Join the PTFA committee
- Help out at events
- Share ideas or skills
- Attend meetings (they’re friendly and informal!)
- Support our events by attending or donating
If you’re interested in joining or would like more information, please contact us at: pta@stanley.blackpool.sch.uk or ask for more details at the school office.
We also encourage you to follow the school’s social media pages and keep an eye on the Stanley Spotlights for updates and opportunities to get involved.
