Our Very First Stay and Play! (RY)

Class: Reception Year: 2026 - 2027

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming our parents and families into school to join us for our very first Stay and Play. This Stay and Play was focused around Phonics and how we teach Early Reading here in Reception! Our families learnt all about our Phonics learning progress, what we have been up to in school and how they can support us at home. We had so much fun exploring and learning through enhanced provision, lots of our focus was on Phonics but there was still also lots of opportunities for our families to play, learn and discover more about our first half term of school! We cannot wait to welcome them back for the next one!
